Dr. Chepkwony Patricia

Patricia is a scholar, researcher and mentor in the field of Entrepreneurship and Innovations. She is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation as well as the Head of Short Courses and Marketing at the University of Kabianga. She has spearheaded numerous strategic initiatives that have resulted in increased market share, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced revenue for the University. By leveraging her strong analytical skills in research, she has published in impact journals and has been a peer reviewer. Currently as the Innovation Champion at the University, She is engaged in supporting research and commercialization of research output in conjunction with the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KENIA) at the University. She is actively engaged in building the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the country through supporting high school and University students in bootcamps and developing of business models.
1. Expert in curriculum development and Implementation in the field of Entreprenuership from Undergraduate to Doctorate levels.
2. Lead trainer and program developer of Entreprenuership programmes at the University.
3. Successfully hosted the Annual Entrepreneurship and innovation championship (High School Edition) in partnership with Start-up Africa at the University
4. Supported the University Enterprise in developing Business plans and models for commercialisation of Value additions; Pineapple Juice, Water and other income generators
5. Spearheaded the development of Entrepreneurship clubs, innovation centre
